Support is the invisible architect of victory. Vision, engage, peel, roams: a good support controls the flow of the game without needing gold. The best supports of the patch are the ones bringing the most utility to their team, whether through engage (Nautilus, Leona), sustain (Soraka, Lulu), or lane pressure (Zyra, Brand).
💡 Tips to climb in Support
- 1.Vision wins games. Place wards in the key areas (river brushes, jungle entrances, around objectives) and buy Control Wards regularly.
- 2.Roam mid after a recall or when your ADC is safe. A support who roams effectively creates an advantage for the whole team.
- 3.Adapt your pick to your team's needs: if your team lacks engage, play a tank. If your ADC is a hypercarry, play an enchanter.
- 4.In lane, position yourself in the brush to zone the enemy ADC. Your mere presence can deny enemy CS.
- 5.Track the key enemy ability cooldowns (hooks, stuns). That is your window to trade or engage.

Enchanter or tank support: which is better?
Tanks (Nautilus, Leona, Thresh) are better at creating plays and controlling teamfights. Enchanters (Lulu, Janna, Soraka) excel at protecting a hypercarry. Choose based on your ADC and the team composition.
How do I make an impact as a support?
Control vision, roam intelligently, and be present for objectives. A support who places 3 wards per minute and actively dewards has more impact than a support glued to their ADC all game.
When should I roam as a support?
Roam when the bot wave is pushed, when your ADC recalls, or when the jungler is setting up a mid gank. Warn your ADC and make sure they have vision before you leave. Do not roam if your ADC is going to die alone.
