Ekko dominates mid lane with his time-bending kit, excelling in skirmishes and teamfights. His 50.8% win rate proves he’s a high-risk, high-reward pick in Season 16.
Ekko thrives in chaotic mid-lane matchups where his Timewinder (Q) and Parallel Convergence (W) can set up deadly all-ins. Early game, focus on stacking Timewinder stacks and poking with your auto-attacks while avoiding unnecessary trades. In the mid-game, roam aggressively to secure kills with your ultimate, Chronobreak (R), which resets your cooldowns and turns fights in your favor. Late-game, Ekko becomes a slippery assassin, using his Z-Drive Resonance (E) to reposition and delete priority targets with your full combo: Q > W > E > AA > R > Ignite.

Standard setup is Summon Aery, Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Scorch for early poke, but you can swap Scorch for Absolute Focus if you prefer scaling.
Poke him with Timewinder when he’s missing health, and avoid trading when he has Death Mark up. Roam mid-game to relieve lane pressure.
Use it to reset cooldowns after landing a full combo, secure a kill, or escape a bad fight. Avoid using it reactively unless you’re out of options.
